Safety Training
Safety training provides training for occupational safety and health.
Training is a fundamental component of occupational health and safety (OHS) programs, equipping workers with the necessary knowledge and skills to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses. Some training programs apply to all employees, while others are specific to certain roles or tasks.[1]
What Is Occupational Health and Safety Training? Occupational health and safety (OHS) training is designed to educate employees on identifying, assessing, and mitigating workplace hazards. Training programs typically cover topics such as safe work practices, hazardous material handling, ergonomics, fire safety, and risk assessments. The primary goal of OHS training is to ensure that workers are aware of potential risks and understand the necessary precautions to protect themselves and their colleagues.[2]
