The Portland Office of Treasury provides banking for all Portland city bureaus, as well as managing the city’s cash, credit, debit, investments and investment accounting.[1]
American Banker Magazine named City Treasurer Brigid O’Callaghan one of the most powerful women in banking in 2012.[4]
In 2022, 1.4 million dollars was stolen from the treasury by hackers.[5]
