Hope Loring (29 January 1894 – 17 January 1959) was an English screenwriter.[1] She wrote for 63 films between 1918 and 1931.[2] She was born in England and died in Majorca, Spain. She was married to fellow screenwriter and producer Louis D. Lighton. [3] She also worked at least once as a director, helming the play "Caprice" at Harold Lloyd's Beverly Hills Little Theatre for Professionals.[4]
