The Front for Victory (FPV) is a Bolivian political party founded in La Paz on February 19, 2009, by the La Paz native and agricultural technician Eliseo Rodríguez Pari, with the party's headquarters in La Paz (seat of government of Bolivia).[6]
The political party participated for the first time in the 2019 Bolivian general election, being represented at that time by Israel Rodríguez Calle as a candidate for the Presidency of Bolivia and Justino Alfonzo Román Hurtado as a candidate for the Vice Presidency of Bolivia. However, the official results showed that the Frente Para la Victoria came in ninth place, obtaining the support of 23,725 votes, representing 0.39% of the total vote nationwide.[7][8]
To participate in the 2020 general elections, they initiated different political agreements, initially outlining an agreement with Jorge Quiroga,[9] although they would later end up signing an agreement with Chi Hyun Chung, who would later be expelled from the alliance due to accusations of discrimination against the LGBT community, so the party would present a new binomial, Jaime Solis as presidential candidate and Salvador Pinto as vice-presidential candidate.[10] However, Chi and his group "Chi Puede" indicated that they would not renounce their candidacy due to the contract they had signed, finally Jaime Solis would decline his candidacy, leaving Chi as the only presidential candidate along with Salvador Pinto as vice president.
On February 20, 2025, the FPV party made an agreement with former president Evo Morales to participate in the national elections of 2025. Evo Morales abandoned the Movement for Socialism to head the list of this party as a candidate for the presidency.[11]
