English: A portrait Illustration of comics inker Jack Abel by Michael Netzer for his Portraits of the Creators Sketchbook. It is inspired by a photograph taken by Greg Theakston in 1977 at Continuity Associates where Jack worked as a freelance inker. Netzer shared a workspace with Abel and sat behind his desk, along with Terry Austin and Bob Wiacek.
