Description
English: Dutch microscopist Van Leeuwenhoek wrote 190 letters to the Royal Society between the years 1673 and 1723. The letters, written in Dutch with some translated into English and Latin, are bound in 4 volumes (EL/L1-EL/L4). Leeuwenhoek was elected an FRS in 1680. Catalogue entry.
