| Description | Deutsch: Hauptportal des Allgemeinen Krankenhauses der Stadt Wien (AKH) an der Adresse Währinger Gürtel 18-20 im 9. Wiener Bezirk Alsergrund. Das AKH wurde auf einer Fläche von rund 345.000 Quadratmetern ab 1964 nach Plänen der Architekten Wolfgang Bauer, Felix Kässens, Georg Köhler, Hannes Lintl, Georg Lippert, Alexander Marchart, Otto Mayr, Roland Moebius und Otto Nobis errichtet. Am 31. Jänner 1991 begann die Besiedlung des Zentralbaus des neuen Gebäudes und am 7. Juni 1994 erfolgte die offizielle Eröffnung. |
