English: A U.S. Marine Corps Douglas AD-4N Skyraider from Marine attack squadron VMA-211 Wake Island Avengers provides air support at Onslow Beach during a landing exercise in the 1950s. Onslow Beach is a 12 km stretch of undeveloped beach at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune in Onslow County, North Carolina (USA). It has been used at various times for practice amphibious landings by the U.S. Navy.
