REVIVE is an EDM house event that has been held in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Yogyakarta. REVIVE itself is themed around the 90s party style, featuring a variety of music genres. These include alter music, house, tech house, progressive, melodic techno, progressive trance, and trance.
History
REVIVE[3] is powered by Halos[4] and guided by Winky Wiryawan, Revive creates a space where you can connect with like-minded individuals and experience inclusion, connection, and freedom.
The event has a vision to grow the progressive music, provide a platform for DJs and musicians to innovate and collaborate, and make an impact on Indonesian music culture. Unlike most EDM house events, REVIVE strives to create a more intimate interaction between the DJs and the audience.
The first event, held on June 7, 2023, at Helen’s Gunawarman in South Jakarta, marked the beginning of something special[5]. Since then, about 5,000 attendees have experienced REVIVE’s unique vibe across twelve different cities. Notably, volumes 10 through 12 were so popular that tickets sold out before the events even began.
Looking ahead, REVIVE’s collaboration with Scream Or Dance at Jakarta’s Carnaval Ancol on November 1, 2024[6], promises to deliver an unforgettable experience, taking over a special stage during the festival.
